Vanderbilt University Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a strategic, visionary and outcomes-focused leader to serve as Associate Nursing Officer (ANO). Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer of Vanderbilt University Hospital, the ANO will lead Vanderbilt University Hospital (VHU), inpatient operations and nursing services for the Surgery, Medicine, Ortho and Hematology/Oncology Patient Care Centers (PCC) to ensure the provision of safe, timely, cost effective, efficient and patient centered care. This role provides leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities within their areas of responsibility. Candidates should be committed and passionate about excellence in patient care as well as an analytics/data driven decision maker.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Nursing Degree and current RN license in good standing is required
Master’s degree or higher education - If nursing degree at BSN level, Master’s can be a non-nursing degree
10+ years of senior leadership experience in field
Academic Medical Center experience and Magnet Hospital experience preferred
