The Administrative Director � Emergency Services isresponsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing resources formultiple departments/service lines on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. Theseresponsibilities include: budget responsibility; efficient/effective resourceutilization; recruitment and effective/efficient management of assigned staff;achieving quality outcomes; performance improvement; monitoring of quality andquantity of services; maintaining positive working relationships with staff andSystem departments and managers, and purchasing and maintaining equipment.Completes established competencies for the position within designatedintroductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Developsand manages the annual department operating and capital budgets
Directsdaily operations of assigned department/s

Department/Business Unit Management:
Interfaceson a regular basis with medical staff to communicate, receive information andpromote satisfactory patient outcomes.
Assurespatient information is available to the healthcare team to facilitate timelymedical decision making.
Utilizesdata and statistical analysis as basis for decisions and actions and to improve performance.
Demonstratesrequired knowledge and competencies for clinical systems to include but notlimited to: HED, HPF, STAR, HEV, Accudose
Demonstratesrequired knowledge and competencies for MS Programs to include but not limitedto: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Redesignswork flow and work processes to achieve customer satisfaction, qualityimprovement and cost reduction.
Identifieshigh-risk situations and utilizes root cause analyses tools to achieve theelimination or reduction of risk.
Supportscase management initiatives and clinical improvement efforts.
Demonstratesdedication to achieving quality outcomes; evaluates and communicates qualityperformance outcomes; collects and utilizes data to improve department performance.
Demonstratesdedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal andexternal customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it forimprovements in service; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes andmaintains effective relationships with customers; role models Studer Principlesand �must haves�

Must be a new employee to Tenet Health
Minimum three years RN experience
Required: Academic degree in nursing, Bachelor's required Preferred: Masters degree - Nursing, Business, or related field
Minimum five years experience in discipline or specialty
Three - five years of progressively responsible management experience in a hospital environment
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
Preferred: Specialty or Administration certification desired
