As the Unit Director on our Liver Transplant Unit, you will provide vital leadership for one of the world’s premier liver transplantation programs. With a commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for the most complex and challenging cases, we have performed over 6,000 transplants for infants, children and adults over the past 30 years.
We’re seeking an experienced nursing leader with a current California RN license and: MSN or BSN with a Master’s degree in a related field Three or more years of acute care and management experience preferred Clinical, staff and fiscal management expertise In-depth understanding of surgical principles and practices, especially liver transplantation Ability to counsel and teach Excellent communication, organizational and prioritizing skills Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, patients, and families Working knowledge of University, Medical Center and Departmental policies and procedures
