Honolulu, HI -- WittKieffer is partnering with The Queen's Health Systems (QHS), in beautiful Hawaii, as they embark upon a search for their next Senior Vice President, System Chief Nursing Officer, The Queen's Health Systems and Chief Nursing Officer, The Queen's Medical Center (CNO). QHS is seeking a staunch nursing leader who will bring compassion, a vision for the future, and a distinct commitment to quality improvement to bear on the position and the health system.
The Queen's Health Systems is Hawaii's oldest and preeminent family of hospitals and healthcare companies, providing preventive and specialty healthcare services in over 70 locations throughout the Pacific. It is the state's largest employer, with over 7,200 employees and over 1,700 physicians networked across the Islands. The flagship hospital is Magnet accredited, having recently earned its third re-designation, and it has been named as a Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report as well as by Newsweek.
As part of the CEO's senior leadership team, the incoming CNO will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the advancement of evidence-based and interdisciplinary care models. S/he will have at least 7 years of successful leadership experience in a large, complex organization, and will understand the differences between rural and urban care environments. Experience in a Magnet designated setting is preferred. A Master's degree in a healthcare or business field is required; a Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. A current state licensure as a registered nurse with eligibility to obtain a Hawaii registered nurse license is required.
