Tampa General Hospital offers a full range of women’s health and pediatric services. This division includes: Mother Baby unit, Ante-Post Partum Unit, Labor & Delivery, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Medical-Surgical Unit, Pediatric Dialysis, Pediatric Day Hospital, and the Transition Nursery.Under administrative supervision of the Senior Vice President of Patient Services, responsible for assessment, implementation and evaluation of administrative operations to deliver efficient and effective delivery of patient care services to nursing and/or ancillary department. Responsible for operations of department. Works in collaboration with Management team to ensure delivery of patient care services is efficient, with high quality outcomes. Acts as a department representative for internal and external customers. Responsible for hiring, directing and evaluating designated management staff members. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Masters degree in Nursing
Clinical Nurse experience with current Florida license
3-5 years progressive management experience.
Experience in Women's and Children's Services strongly desired.
