MANAGER, CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INPATIENT
In this role, you will provide clinical supervision to RN Case Managers, conduct random chart reviews, and ensure appropriate distribution of assignments. You will participate in the assessment, development, implementation, evaluation, and attendance of educational needs for personnel based on quality assurance indicators. You will collaborate with medical staff and other personnel to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate protocols, patient care policies and procedures and standards of care. You will coordinate response to external requests for presentations, site visits and consultation regarding Care Management. In addition, you will perform utilization review and management, including quality review and case review for third party payor requirements.
Master's degree in a related field. MSN preferred. BSN is required if Master's is not in nursing; BSN with Master's degree in related field within 36 months
2-3 years directly related experience
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in State of New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by State of New Mexico
CPR Certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position
Case Management Certification w/in 1 year
