The Director of Acute Care and the Intensive Care Unit has responsibility for the management and operation of the nursing units and is accountable for the development of annual goals and evaluation of care. The Director serves as a clinical role model and is actively involved in initiatives to continually improve the patient care experience. This department is comprised of 25 licensed acute care beds, 6 short stay unit beds and 6 ICU beds. This role is a valuable member of our Leadership Team and a collaborative clinical partner with Physicians, Executives, clinical and support staff working to provide optimal care experiences for patients and their families. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leader focused on delivering positive patient care outcomes, and ensuring the success of the Acute Care and Intensive Care Unit Teams. Key areas of responsibility for this Leader include oversight of the patient care experience, employee engagement, coaching & leading the team for success, managing staffing levels, training metrics, ensuring achievement of compliance requirements, and fiscal management of departmental assets.
