As Senior Director, Nursing Services, you will support the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality. Collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer, you will provide leadership, direction, management and administration of nursing operations and services to ensure accomplishment of strategic initiatives and objectives. You will lead nursing practice in the hospital and maintain consistent and high-quality standards of patient care. You will develop and deploy nursing policies, objectives and initiatives for the division and review departmental operations to ensure compliance with established standards. Other duties include driving the delivery of quality and cost-effective patient care, overseeing the performance of nursing staff and contributing to the development of the patient care vision. Oversight of the model of care, nursing quality assurance, nursing operations, patient safety and the reputation of patient care services is also required. Requirements: - Master’s degree in Nursing or related field, e.g. MSN/MBA/MHA
- Current valid AZ or compact RN state license
- 10 years of nursing experience and 5 years of nursing leadership (must include 2 years of director-level experience)
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate skillfully within all levels of the organization and lead in a team-oriented environment to execute strategic initiatives
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
