In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations, implementation and evaluation of activities for providing emergency services per UNMH/UNMHSC mission and operational goals. Role accountabilities will ensure the delivery of optimal and safe patient care which includes fiscal management, strategic planning, standards compliance, clinical practice and staff development, oversight and active participation in clinical practice, and performance improvement activities that evaluate program effectiveness.
Master's Degree in related field. BSN is required if Master's is not in nursing; BSN with Master's degree in related field within 36 months.
Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
5 years directly related experience.
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in State of New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by State of New Mexico or able to obtain within 60 days of date of position.
CPR Certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position.
Current provider in at least 2 of the following: TNCC or ENPC, APLS, NALS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Board Certification or other related verification competency.
