| Carroll Hospital, a member of LifeBridge Health, seeks a highly professional, visible, patient- and quality-focused nursing leader for their newly created Associate Chief Nursing Officer role. This position has been created as a succession plan for the retiring Chief Nursing Officer. The new Associate Chief Nursing Officer will be an engaging leader with an effective communication style. This individual will proactively identify progressive, creative and viable approaches to enhance overall quality and patient satisfaction, as well as the culture of nursing at Carroll Hospital. The ACNO will continue to develop a tight-knit, high performance nursing team that is focused on service excellence and continuous improvement. The new nurse leader will be committed to fostering an accountable, transparent environment that is supportive of staff and fosters their professional development. Qualifications - The qualified candidate will have a degree in Nursing (baccalaureate, master's or doctorate degree in nursing) and a master’s degree in nursing, education, business or other related healthcare program.
- Current Nursing License in the State of Maryland, or ability to obtain and/or maintain licensure upon hire.
- The preferred candidate will have a minimum of eight to ten years management experience in an acute healthcare setting, five years of which must be at a director level in order to oversee the operation of several departments and to have the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts.
- Excellent business acumen and proven results relative to productivity, business plan development, process improvement, quality measurements, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
