Serving as Magnet Program Manager at The Miriam Hospital, you will ensure compliance with all technical and regulatory activities required to attain and maintain Magnet recognition. Duties include: - Serving as program manager for all nursing excellence-related activities
- Coordinating all internal aspects of Magnet application, status, compliance and initiatives
- Assisting with the integration of ANCC Magnet standards into nursing practice
- Serving as consultant, educator, leader, and researcher for quality nursing care and positive patient outcomes
- Utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice to provide direction to nurse leaders in facilitating practice changes
- Participating in hospital-wide and nursing department-based initiatives that have a potential for significant impact on Magnet status
QUALIFICATIONS - Master’s degree in nursing and professional nursing certification
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience
- Demonstrated project management, teaching and communication skills
- Proficiency in technical aspects of writing, document creation and presentations
- Management experience preferred
