University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) is looking for a dynamic Leader to join our team as Director of Endoscopy (Director), to oversees our fast paced/high volumes Center for Diagnostics and Advanced Endoscopy. UMC has invested in state-of-the-art technology, recruited skilled nurses and partnered with board-certified physician experts to create the region’s most advanced gastroenterology facility in El Paso. The experience of our highly skilled team is unmatched in the region and has quickly become a regional referral center for gastroenterology across West Texas and Southern New Mexico. UMC is also home to the only Level I Trauma Center within a 250-mile radius and the first and only Comprehensive Stroke and Level I Stroke Center. The Director is responsible for directing nursing care and all related clinical activities of the endoscopy, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical areas, according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the Endoscopy department. The Director works closely with the physicians and staff, in the delivery of excellent care.
