Director of Endoscopy

Education/Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master degree in Nursing Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field also required; or must obtain within two years of being in the position.
• Five years of management experience required; preferably in a hospital setting. Strong background in Endoscopy processes and procedures.
• Current license from Texas State Board of Nursing Examiners required.
• Current CPR Training Program.

• Effective facilitator and initiative oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to professionally manage interactions with difficult people and/or difficult situations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal and communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proven ability to negotiate and mediate, bringing, together diverse perspectives with beneficial outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of factors affecting delivery of patient care services and ability to lead the development and implementation of organizational changes to address strategic initiatives and opportunities to improve patient care and nursing practice.
• Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
