| Marshfield Medical Center – Minocqua is a medical campus that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. We provide emergency services, outpatient care, inpatient and outpatient surgeries including minimally invasive options, birth services, imaging services, laboratory, physical and occupational therapy, and pharmacy. The Nurse Manager – OB and Respiratory Therapy, directs and manages the twenty-four hour delivery of optimal patient care within the OB and Respiratory Therapy departments. This skilled individuals responsible for the recruitment and retention of the frontline patient care staff, and for guiding and leading our nurses to provide the best patient care services in accordance with the organizational goals and initiatives. The team focused person we seek will interactively work with physicians and allied provider staff with the goal of best patient outcomes and satisfaction. Requires: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field - or - an Associate degree/Diploma in registered nursing, Associate degree in business administration, or Associate degree in healthcare administration. An Associate/Diploma degree requires the obtaining of a bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field within three years of starting in the position. An annual evaluation of coursework completed towards their bachelor’s degree will be required.
- Three years of management experience; or two years of management experience with a Master’s degree.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire
Preferred: - Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration or other healthcare related field.
- Four years of management experience in a healthcare field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire
