Swedish Health Services is seeking an exceptional leader to assume the position of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for their flagship hospital, Swedish First Hill Campus located in Seattle, Washington.
First Hill serves as the largest hospital in the state of Washington and the flagship for Swedish Health Services with 697 licensed beds, more than 7,000 deliveries annually, one of the largest surgical volumes in the west, over $1.2 billion net revenue and has consistently maintained a CMS Five-Star rating.
As the lead executive for Nursing, the Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for nursing quality and patient care in service to the community. The CNO reports directly to the Chief Executive of Swedish First Hill and Swedish Cherry Hill campuses and will partner closely with the Chief Executive in a triad model along with the Chief Medical Officer. In addition, the CNO will work closely with the Swedish Regional CNO for the provision of nursing quality, practice, standards, scope and patient care.
The Chief Nursing Officer will be an experienced, proven nursing leader. S/he will have served in a complex and matrixed integrated delivery system and will have significant experience leading nursing strategy and operations. This executive will be a change agent who understands process improvement and the use of data analytics to drive operational, quality and financial results.
