Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Market Stroke, Neurosciences, and Spine Coordinator is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach to the care of the neurologic and neurosurgical patient population in support of the Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Accreditation program, Neurosurgery, and Spine. The coordinator collaborates with the Directors of neurology and neurosurgery in carrying out the educational, clinical, research, administrative, and outreach activities of the neurosurgical program and stroke program. The position includes overseeing the development and implementation of systems for evaluation of clinical competency of the nursing staff, helping to develop and update standards and policies, consultation of the
Current California RN license
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times)
BSN in Nursing or equivalent experience
Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to present self in positive and professional manner
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
Experience in data collection, entry, and analysis
5 yearsâ€™ clinical experience with 2-3 years of program management
