Nurse Manager, Department Med/Surg
In this role, you will be accountable for management of a patient care unit. You will partner with the health care team to assure quality patient/family centered care.
At least five years of clinical experience as an RN
At least two years of leadership experience in a health care field
A BSN or health-related bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a BSN or health related bachelor’s degree program with completion date defined
A current Oregon or Washington RN license in state where assigned upon hire/transfer
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers required within 30 days of hire/transfer
Preferred Qualifications Include:
At least four years of previous experience in a similar role
At least five years of demonstrated knowledge in area of clinical expertise
A master’s degree
Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, Labor Law, all related and affiliate contracts, workmen’s comp, Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center policies and procedures, Human Resource Policies, and Procedures, OSHA, CMS, Health Department, Employee benefits, National Labor Relations Board, standards of practice of professional organizations
