Surgical Oncology- Neuro-Oncology, Neurosurgery and Head/Neck - Nurse Manager
36-bed inpatient unit caring for postoperative patients for ENT, Neuro-Oncology and Neurosurgery. Patient age ranges are between 18 – 92 years. Patient care is provided by a multidisciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, patient care associates, unit clerical associates, patient care resource managers, social workers, clinical nurse specialists, attending physicians, fellows, residents and nurse practitioners. This unit specializes in microvascular free-flap reconstruction, airway management, excision of head/neck cancers, detoxification, brain tumors, chemotherapy encounters, radiation therapy, hyperbaric therapy and secondary stroke certification. Undergoing PCU training.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, along with management experience. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing and have a current Ohio license. Master degree required. Oncology experience preferred.
