Chief Nursing Informatics Officer
General Description: The Chief Nursing Informatics Officer is a nurse executive of OU Health charged with providing strategic vision and leadership to drive transformation in nursing care delivery through the use of data, information, and technology. The CNIO reports to the Chief Nursing Executive and works in tandem with the Health Informatics team through a matrixed reporting relationship to the Chief Medical Informatics Officer. The CNIO is the strategic liaison to health IT helping lead the planning, implementation and optimization of technology and information systems across OU Health in support of data-driven continuous improvement operational efficiency, quality and safety, and clinician and patient experience.
