Job Summary The VP of Nursing is responsible for nursing practice throughout the Springfield hospitals and is responsible to plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing care. The VP of Nursing works in collaboration with health system leadership and is accountable for engaging employees and medical staff to achieve the organization’s mission. The VP of Nursing has direct responsibility for nursing services in the Springfield Hospital Group (SHG), which includes Cox South, Cox North and Meyer Orthopedic and Rehab Hospital.
