California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a solutions-oriented, no nonsense nurse executive to provide organization and leadership to our dedicated nursing team, develop program-enhancing processes, and continue our mission to provide comprehensive health care to our diverse patient population.
To thrive in this leadership role you must have:
Recent experience supervising a large nursing staff (ideally a minimum of 20 RNs)
Current CA RN licensure with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Services Administration
Five years of clinical nursing experience in a large health care organization, a minimum three years of which must have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity
A Master’s degree in Nursing or other health care-related field, knowledge of Title 22 and The Joint Commission as well as a flexible, collaborative work style is desirable.
