JOB SUMMARY:
The Nursing Director collaborates with Sr leadership & subordinate staff to plan, implement & evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence & customer service outcomes within designated units/services. Ensures that regulatory requirements/standards are communicated, implemented & monitored. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to plan, implement & evaluate activities related to department & organizational objectives. Models customer service excellence. Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5 Years of Experience Bachelor’s Degree California RN License (Minimum) At least five (5) years in administrative or supervisory experience. Broad knowledge of the disciplines represented in the department and of the laws and regulations pertaining to services provided by the department. Bachelor's Degree with current enrollment in a Master's Degree program will be accepted.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree 6 Years of Experience
The expected hiring range for this position is $81.96 to $112.70
