OVERVIEW Dually reporting to the President of Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) and the Chief Nurse Executive of BJC HealthCare, the Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) serves as the senior executive overseeing patient care services nursing across all BJH clinical settings. The CNO is responsible for the alignment of nursing care across the hospital’s clinical settings through appropriate standardization and the identification and adoption of evidence-based clinical guidelines and consistent management standards to reduce variation in practice.
