The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the functions, activities, and training of the nursing services staff.  He/She plans, directs, and manages the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the nursing services and ensures a positive working relationship among the staff.  The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, budgeting, directing nursing services.  Coordinates and collaborates with finance, ancillary services, and other departments to achieve facility goals. The Chief Nursing Officer may also carry leadership responsibilities for other departments as determined by Executive Management.
