Job Summary:
Oversees the daily operations of a the RefuahHealth adult/family/pediatric departments. Serving as a liaison between nursing staff, doctors, and healthcare administrators.
Duties and Responsibilites:
Responsibility includes operational activities on a twenty-four/six basis
Creating standard-of-care guidelines.
Overseeing and implementing changes to nursing best practices, such as shift changes and infection prevention procedures.
Developing short- and long-terms goals for the department, such as staffing goals, procedural goals, and standard-of-care goals.
Setting nursing staff schedules and evaluating their performance.
Collaborates with department nurses and supervisors, and provides direct oversight of clinical care provided to assigned areas of responsibility.
Advocates for patients and families, acting as liaison within the various departments.
Improve the quality and efficiency of the level of care delivered to patients.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal policies and regulations.
Solve any problems patients might have at the facility.
Ensure staff maintain the required credentials.
Holds huddles to focus on patient care, safety and satisfaction.
Other tasks as required.
