What You'll Have:
Graduate of a school of nursing.
Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Colorado.
Enroll into BSN program within six months of hire and completion of the program within 2 years of hire.
Minimum of two years nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advances Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), required.
What You'll Do:
Collaborates with other healthcare members, leadership and medical staff to provide safe patient care.
Heads compliance of regulatory standards within surgical services as well as utilizing leadership tools in communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
Responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of policies pertinent to the surgical services.
Provides employee feedback concurrently and participates in performance review process of employees working in surgical services.
Oversight of staffing schedules and is the direct point of contact person for fulfilling surgeon needs and issues.
