UNC Health Rex has exclusively retained Kirby Bates Associates to identify their next Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer. UNC Health Rex, a member of UNC Health, is a private not-for-profit health care system which includes UNC Rex Hospital with 486 staffed beds, the North Carolina Heart & Vascular Hospital with 286 staffed beds, the UNC Rex Cancer Center, Rex Holly Springs Hospital, five wellness centers, two skilled nursing facilities, and urgent care centers. In August 2024, UNC Health Rex added the six story UNC Health Blue Ridge East Tower with 128 private patient rooms, 10 ORs and a new ED. In September 2024, UNC Health Rex filed CON applications to add 20 acute care beds and 2 ORs to Rex’s main Raleigh hospital and to build a 50-bed community hospital in Wake Forest.

Qualifications:
Ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
Prior CNO experience required.
Magnet experience required.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required, one of which must be in Nursing.
Ability to work in matrix reporting structure.
