Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH) is seeking a passionate and community-focused leader committed to the mission of providing home healthcare, hospice services, and community care programs. The successful candidate will be committed to the delivery of high quality, patient-centered healthcare and will bring a comprehensive understanding of fiscal operations and innovative resource management. The VNH health teams, support staff, and nurses exemplify a dedication to the highest level of clinical excellence that offers deep expertise across 17 disciplines. About the job:
In addition to day-to-day operations at VNH, the CEO is responsible for promoting an environment of collaboration and building a culture of exceptional service. The CEO establishes current and long-range objectives; provides leadership across diverse organizational operations and strategic initiatives including those focused on creating a culture of patient safety and ensuring high quality care and service; advances initiatives to improve population health; ensures regulatory and legal compliance for the organization and effective financial stewardship, people management, board governance, organizational development, system member relations and community relations; and provides direction to ensure successful implementation of major initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a master’s degree or higher in health administration, public health, or a related field. They may possess a nurse or provider credential and associated license to practice, but this is not required.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in senior-level healthcare leadership and must also have experience in home-based care. Experience in a non-profit organization and within a complex health system is valuable.
