WHAT YOU WILL DO
Advocate for the best quality of patient care; ensures Franciscan Alliance quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory agency guidelines.
Collaborate with the Franciscan Alliance system accreditation teams to facilitate compliance in nursing and care delivery requirements.
Design continuum of care options for managing patient throughput including acute care settings, long term care units, urgent care centers, and admission/discharge units; implements patient care standards of practice that deliver top decile results in health outcomes, costs, and patient satisfaction.
Focus on improving specific areas of patient care by analyzing the root causes for variation from quality standards, improving the process with the evidence, controlling solutions and sustaining success.
Direct the preparation of the annual budget for the respective division.
Facilitate and reinforce, through business processes and performance measures, a mindset for excellence in order to reduce unnecessary variations, improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Required (If Masters is not in Nursing)
