Responsibilities: The Director of Surgical Services provides oversight to and direction for the full spectrum of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care. This includes, but is not limited to, making recommendations on policy issues and technology needs regarding surgical services, identifying opportunities to attain superior quality and safety at the best cost, implementing solution sets and ongoing evaluations of performance, as well as planning, directing and evaluating operational performance of the surgical services division.
