Logan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) leader to serve as the Clinical Nurse Manager for our 40-bed Acute Care Unit in Kalispell, MT!
This important role provides comprehensive clinical and operational oversight for a high-acuity medical-surgical environment and plays a critical leadership role in advancing patient care quality, staff engagement, and operational performance.
The RN Clinical Manager is a key leadership position within our inpatient services division and requires a confident, experienced nurse leader with demonstrated supervisory success in an acute care setting.
You'll provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership for the Acute Care Unit in alignment with Logan Health’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. This role ensures high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, and fiscal responsibility. You'll also partner closely with shift-level nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support safe patient flow, staffing effectiveness, quality improvement, and professional development.

Required Qualifications:
Current Montana RN License or multistate compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum ofthree (3) years of progressive leadership experience in an acute care setting.
Minimum of two (2) years recent clinical experiencein acute care.
Current RQI Healthcare Provider certification.
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and care delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Operational Leadership
Provide oversight of patient care delivery, staffing, scheduling, and clinical quality.
Maintain a visible leadership presence to support staff and address patient care needs.
Ensure compliance with the Montana Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and Logan Health policies.
Monitor productivity standards and operational metrics to ensure efficient unit performance.
Quality, Safety & Process Improvement
Lead safety, risk, and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote a culture of accountability, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Support patient experience initiatives and service recovery when needed.
Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and organizational committees.
Team Development & Engagement
Foster a professional, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
Conduct performance evaluations, competency validation, and ongoing coaching.
Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, retention, corrective action, and workforce development.
Support leadership development among frontline nursing leaders.
Financial & Strategic Stewardship
Assist in operational and capital budget development and fiscal oversight.
Analyze data and present recommendations to improve clinical and operational outcomes.
Align unit performance goals with system-wide strategic priorities.
